Valezar 10 Años 2015 — Ribera del Duero
There are wines that are made and wines that are awaited. Valezar 10 Años belongs to the latter: an edition conceived to show how far the Tinto Fino of La Horra can go when it is given the most precious thing a winery has — time.
A decade of patience
Its winemaking is a dance of time and mastery. After a careful selection of the best grapes, this wine spends three years in barrel, where it acquires the structure and the spiced nuances that define its character. But it is during the seven years of refinement in bottle where the true transformation happens: a long, serene rest that allows all its components to come together in harmony.
Tasting notes
The result is a wine of great complexity, finesse and elegance. On the nose it unfolds an aromatic range of ripe black fruits, balsamic touches, sweet spices and a subtle background of leather and tobacco. On the palate the attack is powerful and silky, with well-balanced acidity and polished tannins that fill the mouth. The finish is long and persistent, inviting you to savour every moment.
Food pairing and serving
Valezar 10 Años is not just a wine, it is an experience. Ideal with red meats, big game or mature cheeses. We recommend serving it at 16–18 °C and opening it some time in advance so it can unfold all its complexity.
